Web Design & Digital Marketing Agency Melbourne

We build websites for Melbourne businesses — bricklayers and electricians, workshops and clinics, salons, flooring showrooms and online stores — then measure whether the phone rings. Not clicks. Calls and form submissions, which you can check yourself.

What we do for Melbourne businesses

Websites built to be found and to be called

Fast on a phone, your number tappable at the top of every page, a service page for each job you want more of.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile

Suburb-level pages and a properly filled-in Business Profile, so you turn up three streets away.

Google Ads, when they suit you

Targeted at the postcodes you will actually drive to. If ads are the wrong spend, we say so.

Tracking you can check yourself

Analytics and Search Console verified before launch, every form tested by us, lead alerts to your phone.

Affordable web design in Melbourne — and what cheap usually hides

Affordable and cheap are not the same thing, and the gap is where small businesses quietly lose money.

A full website build starts at $1,350. Website care plans start at $250 a month, marketing plans at $650. Both numbers are published on our pricing page in writing, before you speak to anyone.

What we will not do is quote low and make it back where you cannot see it. That usually happens in three places: hosting you cannot leave, a domain registered to the agency rather than you, and a monthly SEO invoice with no deliverable attached. Ask any agency — us included — who owns the domain, who owns the Analytics account, and what the notice period is.

The other thing cheap hides is measurement. A site nobody can measure costs more than a dearer one that tells you which page produced the enquiry.

Small business web design in Melbourne

Nearly every business we work with is a small one — an owner, a few staff, nobody whose job is marketing. That shapes how we build. You will not be handed a content management system and wished luck, or asked to write your own copy at nine at night.

Three things small businesses here consistently need and rarely get:

  • A site that loads quickly on a phone on mobile data.
  • Your phone number tappable at the top of every page — trivial until you count how many sites bury it in a footer.
  • Tracking that works from day one, so the first monthly report is data rather than an apology.

And the part most agencies leave out: if your budget will not get you past the established competitors in your suburb, we say so at the quoting stage.

The Melbourne industries we actually work in

Every client here is anonymous on purpose. We name a client only with their written permission, and we never show one client's account, dashboard or reporting to anyone else.

Trades and home services

Bricklaying, electrical, fencing supply. The work is good, the website is invisible, and nobody can say which jobs came from where.

Automotive

Servicing, repairs and used-car sales in Melbourne's east. Mobile-first, because the enquiry often comes from someone standing next to a car.

Healthcare and clinics

Surgical and medical practices, where the visitor is anxious and comparing three providers. Two pages fighting over one search term cost you both.

Beauty and personal care

A busy Instagram and no way to turn it into a booking. The job is joining the two up.

Flooring and interiors

Showrooms up against national franchises with bigger budgets. Local depth is the lever a franchise cannot copy quickly.

E-commerce and online retail

Selling Australia-wide is a different problem from selling to your postcode. Product schema and page speed beat the map pack here.

How a Melbourne project runs

01

We look before we quote

Your current site, your Business Profile, whatever tracking exists. This is where the surprises live — forms that email nowhere, analytics that never recorded a visit.

02

Scope and a number, in writing

Pages, features, who writes the copy, who supplies the photos, what it costs. If the budget will not clear your suburb's competitors, you hear it here.

03

Design, then build

You see the design before it becomes code, phone-sized as well as desktop. Changes are cheap now and expensive later.

04

Tracking goes on before launch

Analytics and Search Console verified while the site is still on staging, so month one holds real data. We submit every form ourselves.

05

Launch, then keep watching

Thirty days of support included. After that, monthly plans start at $250 a month and the site joins the monitoring schedule.

Where we work

Melbourne suburbs we work across

Melbourne does not search as one city. Someone in Ringwood looking for a mechanic and someone in Prahran looking for a clinic type different things and see a different map pack. Suburb pages and postcode-level ad targeting exist for that reason, not to pad a sitemap.

To be straight about the list: three of the Melbourne case studies on our portfolio page sit in Prahran, Nunawading and Ringwood. The rest is where we take work, not a claim of a client on every street.

Areas we take work in

Melbourne CBD
Richmond
South Yarra
Prahran
Brunswick
Collingwood
Box Hill
Nunawading
Ringwood
Dandenong
Frankston
Werribee

Outside these? We also build in Sydney and Brisbane.

What Melbourne businesses ask us

How much does a website cost in Melbourne?

A full build starts at $1,350 plus GST, website care plans start at $250 a month and marketing plans at $650. The final number depends on page count, whether copy and photos exist yet, and how much is built around your business rather than assembled. The build price, the monthly plans and the add-on rates are all on our pricing page, and we quote your project after a free consultation.

How long does a Melbourne website take to build?

Four to six weeks is typical, counted from the day we have your content rather than the day you sign. What stretches it is waiting on copy and photos, or adding pages mid-build.

Can you get my business ranking in my suburb?

We build for it, and we will not promise a position. What we will give you is Google's own record of what happens: across the ten client properties we hold Search Console access on, July 2026 came to 1,295 clicks from 93,448 appearances in search results. That is the whole managed set, including sites early enough in the work to be nowhere near the top of page one. Your monthly report covers your site in the same detail, and visibility is not the same as leads — the phone calls sit next to it.

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Often no. Plenty of the Melbourne sites we take on are sound underneath and simply have broken tracking, no suburb pages, or a Business Profile nobody finished. Repairing that is usually cheaper than starting again.

What counts as a lead?

A phone call or a form submission. Not a click, and not a conversion a platform credited to itself — we have opened an account showing hundreds of recorded conversions with no enquiries behind them. Across the sites we run, our own logging has captured 102 real enquiries since it was switched on in July 2026. Captured is the honest word: the log records the enquiry arriving, which is not the same as proving it landed in an inbox, and we have had a delivery path break for five days without the capture count noticing.

What happens after the site goes live?

Thirty days of support is included. After that, monthly plans cover updates, backups, security checks, hosting and small content changes from $250 a month. Ten client sites are checked automatically every 15 minutes, along with our own, so a Sunday outage reaches us before it reaches you. Not every site we have built is on that schedule — the most recent launches are still being added — and we would rather say so than imply a net that does not exist yet.
